Crawford Tower
An old Saracen watchtower on the promontory of San Nicola Arcella.
The Crawford Tower is an old Saracen outpost dating to the 1400s, set on a promontory overlooking the bay. It is named after the American writer Francis Marion Crawford, who lived there around the turn of the 20th century.
