Sanctuary of the Madonna della Grotta
The rock sanctuary of Praia a Mare, with a wooden statue of the Madonna.
The Sanctuary of the Madonna della Grotta is set in a natural cave and houses a wooden statue of the Madonna. According to tradition its arrival dates to August 1326. The feast is celebrated from 14 to 16 August with processions on land and at sea.
